Patrick Brigger is co-founder and head of IT and Marketing for getAbstract. He obtained his Ph.D. at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL, Lausanne). From 1995 to 1998, he was a staff member and later head of the Signal Processing Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health, Washington D.C. His work was honored with a Small Business Innovation research grant. Later in his career, Patrick was founder of a US software-development and IT consulting company in the New York Tri-State area.
